Molding
Triad Fastener is a highly
diversified custom injection molder of thermoplastic
polymers and thermoplastic elastomers, with the ability
to assist in product design, tool design, and in-house
mold construction and repairs. In over forty years we
have expanded into numerous fields within the injection
molding industry, enabling us to offer a complete
package of molding capability to the industry.
Highlights include:
- Gas Assist Molding –
Multiple press capability set up to process products
with gas-assist technology. This includes
over-molded component products.
- Over-molding – We
innovated a technique with one of our customers to
over-mold an elastomer onto a plastic substrate that
was produced from a gas-assist mold process. Other
applications include standard over-molded type
products.
- Precision Molding –
Precision molded products in demanding applications
in industries such as automotive and appliance
industries.
- Large Part Molding –
Press sizes to 2200 tons with Class A surfaces.
- Insert Molding –
Horizontal and vertical press capability.
- Value Added Processes –
These include assembly and decorating operations.
- ISO 9001-2000 Certification
with compliance to the new TS standards.
- Engineering and Tooling
Support – Support functions include assistance
in product design, tool design, in-house tooling,
Pro E software and rapid prototyping capability.
- Sophisticated Assembly
Equipment - This includes the ability to design
and build auxiliary equipment for any assembly and
checking function required during the manufacturing
process. This is an in-house capability with one of
our affiliated companies.
- CMM and Computer Enhanced
Visual Equipment – The latest in computer
controlled equipment used to perform various quality
functions such as layouts and ongoing inspections.
